Discipleship Groups

GCF Discipleship groups are designed to train Christians in the various skills of Christian living and the specific theology and values of GCF. Each gender-specific group consists of 3-6 people, and meets two to three times a month from early September through May. Although the curriculum takes four years to complete, we only ask participants to commit to one year at a time.

*We offer community groups as well as discipleship groups. Above are some of the differences and similarities.

During the 2025-26 school year, we will cover the “Green Year.”

The books for the Green Year are listed below and will be available for purchase this summer and fall. Small changes may be made to the reading list as we get closer to when groups start.

  • How to Talk About Jesus (Without Being That Guy) By Sam Chan

  • Why Should I Believe Christianity? By James Anderson

  • Marriage in Paradise By William P. Farley

  • Biblical Counseling Articles #1 & 2 – (See Below)

  • Bible Doctrine 2nd Edition By Wayne Grudem

  • For Leaders (Optional for Everyone Else): Acts 1-12 For You by R. Albert Mohler Jr.

Sign-Ups for the 2025-2026 year are now closed.

Registration for the 2025-2026 year will close on August 18th. We are asking anyone interested, even if you participated last year, to register. This helps us significantly in our planning process.
